One of the best places to visit in Japan. One of the most effective places to visit in terms of time, cost and quality.

It is a kind of mountain. If you are blessed enough to be there during a clear weather, you will able to see breath taking view of Mount Fuji,sea and Shizuoka City. You will be able to ride rope way, visit shrine, museum only at 1950yen, all in one day. No reservation was required when I went.

昭和32年(1957)にでき、日本平～久能山を結ぶロープウェイです。 現在は5代目のゴンドラで葵号(お殿様)、橘号(お姫様)と御駕篭をイメージしているそう。

15分おきにゴンドラは動いてますが、混雑時には臨時で動くこともあります。 移動時間は5分ですがガイドさんの解説があるので景色と心地よい案内を聞きながら久能山へ向かうことができます。

ロープウェイ乗り場手前には羽織を着て撮影できるスポットがあったり、杖の無料貸し出しもあります。 久能山東照宮階段多いので心配な方は借りましょう！

また土日には結婚式のカップルが東照宮で式を挙げるのにこのゴンドラを利用しますが、ヘッドマーク？が両家のお名前入りに！ タイミングよければおめでたい姿...
