3.8? We had the lunch set with a big chanko nabe pot for two. The food was good - soup was tasty and the staff helped to cook the pot, coming over to check and turn over the ingredients a few times. The chicken wings were good too. We enjoyed the food but perhaps we haven't the refined palate for this type of food. We love nabe and hotpots but nabe is nabe - something we make at home so hard to give a 4 (I.e. we would crave / make the effort to come again). There are other places that do a full on course (lots more side dishes) but if you just want some chanko nabe, would recommend the place. English menu available. For Chanko Nabe the price is per person.

Having Chankonabe withdrawals🤤 Located at Ryogoku Edo NOREN visitor center just next to Ryogoku Station, Chanko Kirishima Ryogoku Edo NOREN dishes out chankonabe with plenty of vegetables, meat and seafood in their signature Kirishima style that combines soy sauce and miso with chicken and pork bone soup; a recipe straight from the Michinoku sumo stable! Delicious and heart-warmingly satisfying, its convenient location ensures you don't ever leave Ryogoku without trying chankonabe😁 They also offer neat single-serving sets for the occasional oddball solo traveler...

It's my first time having Chankonabe in close proximity to where the sumo action happens. Fortunately the portions even though was large it was manageable for the average mortal. The food was fresh and delicious from the sashimi to the ingredients in the main pot everything was high quality. I spent my time slowly enjoying it till the end and was extremely satisfied. Even with the sheer amount and variety of food I did not exit the restaurant feeling bloated or queasy which shows the cooking style is very healthy. It was definitely a great experience!
