Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Observation Deck — Attraction in Tokyo

Although I have arrived at Haneda Airport many times and yet this was my first visit to this observation deck. I have heard this was the place to have a great sunset photo with Fuji San in view.

They were on the floor 6 and one observation deck at both sides. They were all facing west. I checked out both and felt that north one had a better view imho.

Although I did check the time for sunset it turned out it was densely cloudy. In the end it was a great way to visit this...

Quite a fun little excursion while waiting a few hours until my flight, I definitely wish this was more of a thing where I'm from in the U.S.

Even on a hot summer day, you get an excellent view of the planes. People outside tend to be a mix of professional plane spotters, travelers and enthusiasts. There's vending machines outside as well and shade. There's even a higher observation point accessible via staircase if the first observation deck wasn't good...
