WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN IKEBUKURO.

友人とランチをする予定で、私が先にカフェに着きました。すると店員に友達が到着するまでは中で待つことはできないといきなり言われました。

その日は気温が４０度もあり、湿度も高かったのですが（東京に住んでる人ならわかると思います）、店員はそんなことはお構いなしで友人が着くまでは外で待つように言ってきました。

店内は空席が目立ち、自分の他にお客さんも来ていなかったので、なぜ店内で待てないのか理解できませんでした。何か注文して友人を待とうと思っていましたが、それすらできなかったのです。

８年間日本に住んでいますが、４０度もある外で待つように言われたのは初めてでしたし、いつも慣れ親しんでいる日本のおもてなしとは真逆の対応でした。この店にはおもてなしの心は全くありません。

カフェ自体は悪くないですがここのス店員の対応のひどさはすぐにでも改善すべきです。

(ENGLISH) Planned to have lunch with a friend but I arrived at the cafe first. I was immediately told by the staff that I couldn't wait inside and that I could only come in when my friend arrived.

That day the temperature outside was 40 C (104 F) and extremely humid (those living in Tokyo would know what I'm talking about) nevertheless, it seems that the staff didn't care and insisted that I waited outside until my friend arrived.

When that happened there were plenty of empty seats inside and there weren't any other new customers coming in so, I wonder why I wasn't allowed to wait inside. Of course, I was planning to order something while waiting for my friend but I wasn't even given the opportunity to do that.

In my 8 years of experience living in Japan, this is the first time I've been told to wait outside on a 40 C (104 F) temperature day, which is completely opposite of the amazing Japanese hospitality we, myself and Japanese people, are used to. Unfortunately, there is zero "OMOTENASHI" spirit in that place.

The place itself is not so bad but the staff's attitude towards customers needs to be dramatically improved.

(Français) J'avais prévu de déjeuner avec un ami mais je suis arrivé au café en premier. Le personnel m'a immédiatement dit que je ne pouvais pas attendre à l'intérieur et que je ne pouvais entrer que lorsque mon ami serait arrivé.

Ce jour-là, la température extérieure était de 40 C (104 F) et extrêmement humide (ceux qui vivent à Tokyo sauraient de quoi je parle) néanmoins, il semble que le personnel s'en fichait et insistait pour que j'attende dehors jusqu'à ce que mon ami arrive .

À ce moment-là, il y avait beaucoup de sièges vides à l'intérieur et aucun autre nouveau client n'entrait, alors je me demande pourquoi je ne pouvais pas attendre à l'intérieur. Bien sûr, j'avais l'intention de commander quelque chose en attendant mon ami, mais le personnel ne m'a pas donné l'occasion de le faire.

Au cours de mes 8 années d'expérience au Japon, c'est la première fois qu'on me dit d'attendre dehors un jour de température de 40 C (104 F), ce qui est complètement à l'opposé de l'incroyable hospitalité japonaise que nous, moi-même et les Japonais, être habitué. Malheureusement, il n'y a aucun esprit "OMOTENASHI" à cet endroit.

L'endroit en lui-même n'est pas si mal, mais l'attitude du personnel envers les clients doit être considérablement améliorée.

(Español) Me quedé de ver con un amigo pero llegue primero al café. Inmediatamente el staff del café me dijo que no podía esperar dentro y que solamente podía entrar cuando mi amigo llegara.

Ese día la temperatura en Tokio era de 40 C (104 F) y super humedo (los que viven en Tokio sabrán de qué hablo), sin embargo el staff del café no le importo por que insistió en que esperara afuera.

En ese momento había varias lugares vacíos y no había ningun cliente nuevo entrando al cafe, por lo que me pregunto por qué no me dejaron esperar dentro. Claro que tenía planeado pedir algo del menu mientras esperaba por mi amigo, pero ni siquiera eso me dieron la oportunidad de hacer.

En los 8 años que llevo viviendo en Japón, es la primera vez que un negocio me dice que en un día con temperatura de 40 C (104 F) que espere afuera, lo cual es completamente opuesto al extraordinario servicio al cliente que yo y los japoneses estamos acostumbrados. Desafortunadamente, este café no tiene nada de ÖMOTENASHI¨

El café en si no esta mal, pero la actitud con la cual los empleados tratan a los clientes debe ser...

I went there at 3:40pm on a Saturday (yesterday). The staff asked me to grab a seat at the second floor so I did it. I was only served with a drink menu. While ordering, I asked if I still can order lunch as I checked it on Google. The staff said that the lunch time is over. They didn’t serve me any other menu than the drink menu, but other customers who came after me could order cakes! When I entered, the staff said that filming is not allowed as there are other guests so I assured him that I will blur the faces if I upload these videos and I’m just gonna record myself. He agreed. But other customers were filming as well, but nobody said anything. I felt like it was because I am a foreigner, though I was just minding my own business. It was an unpleasant experience overall. Also, they didn’t serve any napkins as you can see...

(place) It has really cozy and retro vibes. I enjoyed a lot being here. Interior is pretty and you feel like in a book. Staff is also very kind.

(Food&Drink) I had Donburi and it tastes really good. I got orange juice so couldn’t take coffee here today but I will definitely come here back.

(!!!!!) For those who want to work here: they don’t provide wifi. This cafe is very tiny and I think they want other customers to enjoy the place as well. So you don’t stay for hours taking other’s opportunities to enjoy...
