TLDR: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CAN NOT SPEAK FLUENT JAPANESE. They have a few friendly staff who can speak a little English but if you aren’t lucky enough to meet a nice staff you’ll have a bad day.

Edit: I came here for the anime collab lottery game. The lady at the gate is friendly and speaks a little English, which made me think that Google map reviews are dated and I’m welcomed here. I went straight to the anime collab area on the map, no customer there, only one lady behind the counter.

After hearing that I speak English, this lady just started speaking Japanese FAST, pointed at a machine then went straight to a nearby counter. I didn’t know how to operate the machine so I looked to her suggesting I needed help, but she just stood there staring into the void.

I was a little annoyed but I didn’t want to waste my ¥1,000 entry ticket. Luckily I found two ladies in the next room who are willing to help. Turns out I just needed to 1. insert enough money into the machine, 2. push one button, get the ticket and 3. draw the lottery. Didn’t even take 5 minutes, and I was the only customer there all along. LOL

The fact that they didn’t bother to Google Translate a 3-step tutorial, and how the first staff dealt with me is telling me that this is not a place for foreign tourists. This game doesn’t have a language or cultural barrier, but IF you are a foreigner, you just can’t enjoy it. I don’t wanna use the r-word but they are giving,...

Based on my experience, I would rate Namjatown a 3 out of 5 stars. The indoor theme park offers a mix of attractions and entertainment, but there are certain aspects that could enhance the overall experience.

Namjatown is known for its variety of attractions, including themed zones, games, and food stalls. The diversity of offerings caters to different preferences and interests, providing a range of activities to choose from.

However, there are areas that could be improved. Depending on personal preferences, some attractions might be more enjoyable than others, leading to variations in the overall satisfaction of the visit. Additionally, the maintenance and presentation of certain areas might vary.

On a positive note, the concept of combining themed zones, games, and food stalls creates a unique and engaging experience. The staff members are usually courteous and provide assistance when needed.

In summary, Namjatown offers a mix of attractions and entertainment in an indoor theme park setting. While there might be variations in enjoyment based on personal preferences and attraction quality, the overall diversity of offerings and engaging concept make it worth considering, warranting a...

While was roaming around sunshine mall, I saw the sign and got curious . When i saw kuroko basket and blue lock posters, it was no brainer for me and I got to find what's in Namjatown. The game event was for kuroko baskets 10th year anniversary + Cross over with gintama games. I saw displayed prizes and got crazy on 2 tapestry which I won !!. So basically every game inside is for 600 jpy so it's advisable to buy the 3500 jpy pass + games pass inside of 800 jpy only pass because you will end up playing games if your fav animes activities are involved. Blur locks and kuro baskets cute and gorgeous merchendise were included. They had lockers ti keep ur belongings at less than 500 jpy. They had amazing horror themed alley , neighbourhood street with mini games. ♥️ just loved the whole setup 😍 and definitely recommend. I bought the ticket form machine and it was not crowded at all. You do have option of 1 re- entry. They have a haunted house...

🗼Tokyo | ✨A Must-Visit for Anime Fans!✨ J-WORLD TOKYO Anime Theme Park Our clients' kids wanted to visit an anime city, so this time we took them to J-WORLD, located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo—a paradise for anime fans! 【J-WORLD TOKYO Anime Theme】Park is on the 3rd floor of Sunshine City, and there are also many cute anime shops on the 2nd floor. After buying the tickets, we received a cool sticker of Katsura Kotarou from Gintama✨ A girl next to us, a Gintama fan, asked if she could buy our sticker😄 J-WORLD TOKYO Anime Theme Park is an indoor theme park inspired by popular works from Weekly Shonen Jump, featuring games based on three major anime: One Piece, Naruto, and Dragon Ball. It offers a multi-anime experience all in one place. The entrance showcases silhouettes of the three main characters. Akira Toriyama once said that a good manga character is recognizable just by their silhouette, and that statement really holds true~ 💖To play the games, you need to buy a pass, but for just visiting, a regular ticket will do. 💖After 5 PM, tickets are discounted, and the park offers various facilities themed around anime characters and stories. Upon entering, you'll receive a stamp card, and after completing each task, you can collect a stamp. Collect them all to get a prize. In the Tenkaichi Budokai, collect all seven Dragon Balls to summon Shenron! One of the games involves completing a mission within a time limit (similar to Chopper's, but more fun), and Naruto's adventure and Dragon Ball's Kinto'un are highly recommended! Complete all seven tasks, and you can go downstairs to summon Shenron! There are really seven Dragon Balls! Additionally, there are exhibitions for Gintama, Kuroko's Basketball, and Haikyuu!! ✨Tips✨ - After 5 PM, the pass is discounted by 800 yen, and advance online tickets offer a 100 yen discount. - The pass allows unlimited rides on seven facilities in the park (not all facilities; those with small gifts are usually extra charge). 💖Tickets: - High school students and above: 800 yen for a ticket, 2600 yen for a pass (1800 yen after 5 PM) - 4 years old to middle school: 600 yen for a ticket, 2400 yen for a pass (1600 yen after 5 PM) 💖Opening Hours: - 10:00-22:00, last entry at 21:00. 💖Address: (You can use Google Maps to find the route) - 3-chome, Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Sunshine City World Import Mart Building 3F Official Website (Chinese version): https://bandainamco-am.co.jp/tp/j-world/si/
