Pasta e Vino Kei — Restaurant in Tokyo

i was having this craving for pasta while here solo traveling here in tokyo. i stumbled upon this gem while perusing maps and teetering between another option. luckily for me, my instincts are generally awesome. i had the oyster dish with red sauce and it was as close to perfect as pasta gets. i also had the spicy pep pizza and sheesh was it so flavorful and true to italian style. both the chef and host/waiter greeted and chatted with me as a lone patron and they were extremely warm and beyond kind. i traveled by train 27 minutes to dine here and it was worthwhile. see...

A cosy restaurant with just a single waiter and chef. I was a bit worried when I entered but the staff were very welcoming. I wish I could remember his name, but the waiter was very friendly and chat with me and other patrons throughout the meal which was lovely. I ordered the squid carbonara and it tasted amazing - the chef is obviously very talented.
