Checking out JAL's domestic Sakura Lounge! ✈️ You'll find it conveniently located right after you pass through security. Entry is super easy – just scan your QR code. Inside, there's a wide variety of beverages available, from alcoholic options like beer and whisky to soft drinks, juices, and coffee. The lounge itself is quite large, offering different types of seating like tables, comfy sofas, and even some more private nooks. They also have a few snacks on hand; I particularly enjoyed the matcha caramel popcorn this visit – highly recommend! For those who need it, there's a smoking area...

The actual lounge is nice and able to accommodate the masses it sees during peak times. But the drinks aren't great and there's essentially no food. For being the only Oneworld Sapphire lounge when taking domestic flights you'd think they'd meet some basic lounge standards and have at least a curry or some basic dish available. If you're connecting from a longer international flight this would really be standard on any other Oneworld member. Just get rid of rid of the unneccesarily huge selection of tap beer (WHY? JAL WHY?) and add some food and the lounge would be...

Beers, soft drinks/coffees/tomato juice/milk and some snacks are available. No food is available. Calm and silent and cozy atmosphere. There is an exit (one way escalator) to the gate in the lounge so I recommend to use it if your gate is not the one which is located just outside of the lounge entrance.

JMB Sapphire or higher status members can use the lounge. If you are traveling on First Class, use DP (Diamond Premier) lounge on the opposite which is more quiet and better (also got foods there which is not...

The lounge is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with comfortable seating areas and plenty of amenities to keep me entertained during my layover. The food and drink selection was impressive, with a variety of tasty options that catered to all dietary needs. What impressed me most about the Sakura Lounge was the level of attention to detail. Overall, I would highly recommend the Sakura Lounge at Haneda airport to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to relax before their flight.
