Cute little garden in a residential area. Being in the height of summer there were no flowers, and the lady who was tending to the garden even apologised for it (bless her). I’m sure in spring it must be very lovely; I’m also sure that the people tending to it are volunteers who keep working regardless of the weather. 皇后陛下の御実家正田邸の跡地に造られた公園です。 日本近代史上において貴重な位置づけになります。

旧正田邸の建物があった時代は，門前にポリスボックスがあり，少し離れた所に大崎警察署の交番がありました (現在は池田山地域安全センター) 。 昔と比べ，周辺はマンションに建て替えられる御屋敷が増え，街並みも大分変わってきましたね。

敷地内は綺麗に整備され，素敵なプティ植物園の様です。 園内には，皇后陛下のお印である白樺🌿 (東京の気候には合わなかったですね😅) はありませんが，縁 (ゆかり) のあるねむの木 (合歓木) や薔薇の植栽があります🌹

9:00am～5:00pm，年末年始 (官公庁の閉庁日に準ずる) を除いて毎日公開されています。 私の様な高齢者であれば，JR五反田駅から徒歩10乃至15分です (駅頭から計測して，信号待ちも無く早足ならもっと早く着きますけど……😄) 。 池田山 (備前岡山藩下屋敷跡)...

There are many roses in the garden, there is a peony. No dogs allowed. No parking area (very tiny).
