We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sunpika as a family of eight—two adults and six children. We had the whole property to ourselves.
From the beginning, communication was excellent, making check-in seamless and stress-free. The proximity to the train line was a major plus, allowing us to easily explore the area.
Ōtsuka is a charming suburb with quaint laneways filled with delightful cafes and restaurants, perfect for leisurely strolls. Sunpika provided everything we needed and offered our family ample space to unwind after our busy days in Tokyo.
The property is a creative gem, featuring unique architecture and integrated art that added to its charm. It was impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. With full kitchen facilities, we felt right at home.

The amenities are top-tier—high-quality toiletries, a Dyson hair dryer, and a Bang & Olufsen speaker—making it feel more like a boutique retreat than a typical stay. The house is wooden, so you might hear some footsteps from above - they provided earplugs but as a noise-sensitive sleeper I didn’t end up using it.

The room was really clean and pretty as well as the host being very cooperative with fast replies through the Airbnb app.
While the bathroom needed a bit more ventilation, it's hardly anything to complain about...
