The zoo is fairly small and doesn’t have a large variety of animals. A noticeable number of enclosures are either empty or closed off, which makes the visit feel a bit underwhelming. Compared to Polish standards, many of the animals seem to have limited space, which can be a bit disappointing from an animal welfare perspective.

One of the main attractions – the panda – requires waiting in line for about an hour just to see it for a minute, even during a non-touristy season and on a weekday.

Rest of the zoo is mediocre with many missing animals. When we went out was too hot for the Polar Bear (why no inside enclosure?). Penguins looked cramped. Many exhibits closed...
