I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saray Halal Kebab in Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan, and I must say, it was an incredible experience!
The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The menu offered a variety of mouth-watering options, but the star of the show was definitely the kebab. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice.
In addition to the delicious food, the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the meal. The portion sizes were also generous, ensuring we left feeling satisfied and happy.
Another standout feature of this restaurant was its location. It was conveniently located near a train station, making it easy to find and access. The surrounding area was also vibrant and bustling, making it a great spot for a meal before or after exploring the city.
Overall, I highly recommend Saray Halal Kebab to anyone in the Shinjuku City area looking for a delicious and affordable meal. The food, atmosphere, and location were all top-notch, making for an unforgettable...
Read moreComing from a country with amazing Kebab stores - I dont know why this place is so popular.
The beef quality is terrible. Ive never had a kebab with such bad meat anywhere in the world. There were hard parts in the meat! Even buying at the shop they will give you a cold product?! Why? Every shop in the world will grill the finished kebab to make sure its hot? Not this one. I could barely understand the guy at the window due to broken japanese with a thick accent - clearly not a japanese guy but he wont talk english to you. Extremely long waiting times. I was waiting 15 minutes for a Kebab when only 4 people were waiting? Sometimes its like 20 people there. Dont want to know how long you wait then.. The store looks really dirty - looks like it hasnt been cleaned in forever and I had a hair in my food.
Only positives - its cheap and a large portion. And you get a mini drink with your order. Maybe the chicken kebab is better meat - I dont know. I will not...

Hear me out, this is not your 300-500 dirty kebab (no offence, they are delicious as well in a different way and sometimes you just need your quick cheap fix). This is the real deal - or the closest you can get in Japan. Take this from someone who lived in Germany and Spain, where kebab is more of a religion than a street food.
Not only the meat is fantastic, they do not shy away with ingredients and sauce - bid farewell to those sad kebabs that look like a cabbage salad with some sauce and a bit of meat. The fries are crispy to perfection. Overall, amazing quality for the price. And on top of that, the guys are so welcoming and nice.
Now, go get a wrap, seriously. You can...
