Despite the park being located in an easily accessible location, only a 10-minute walk from Machida Station, it is so rich in nature that it belies the hustle and bustle of the Machida Station area. Since the area surrounding the park is residential, it is a place of recreation and relaxation for the residents of the neighborhood. The park stretches from northwest to southeast, with a road running across the park in the center of the park, and the appearance of the park changes completely between the northwest and southeast areas, bordered by the road. The northwestern area is very quiet and covered with trees, as if one were strolling through a forest. There are a few grassy areas, but basically this is not a place to play ball or pitch a tent. It is an area for strolling, sitting on benches, resting, and enjoying a quiet moment. The southeastern area, on the other hand, is equipped with playgrounds, playground equipment, and other facilities for fun and sports. In particular, the "Plaza of Rainbow and Water (Niji to Mizu no Hiroba)" is very popular with children, as it has facilities for water play that are not found elsewhere. Because of the depressed topography of the park, most entrances to the park are downhill. The southeastern area has ramps to facilitate access for wheelchairs and other disabled visitors, but note that there are few such facilities in the northwestern area. Parking is available, but space is limited. On the other hands, there are no facilities for tents or barbecues, so most people access the park on foot (or by public...
