Decepcionada! Even among Brazilians (me) and other foreigners this is a popular restaurant/branch, so I was looking forward to eat there after so long, but it was just disappointing !
First of all - one guy serving the meat has his nose sticking out of the mask all the time, coming super near me and my japanese friend. almost all the staff serving the food come soooo close to us. my friend got super upset, and I had to call the manager(?) where are the basic corona precautions?
2 - most staff sound miserable and unhappy, it’s not a good vibe. It’s so hard to ignore it.
3 - please cook your couve, it’s not supposed to be served nearly raw like that. And palmito is supposed to be fresh and crunchy, not all soft looking old .
4 - the staff started acting weird because of our complaints, and when I left they didn’t greet me “thank you”, like they do with all the other customers. even though I said THANK YOU first, when I was leaving. I still can’t believe this one.
Just go to the Shibuya branch instead. It’s a smaller place but the service is suberb! And proper corona precautions taken.
Hope you guys will improve,...
Read more13 April 2025 - Dinner. We've eaten at many different Brazilian rodizio style Churrascaria restaurants back home in the USA. Primarily chain restaurants named "Fogo de Chão" and "Texas de Brazil". They are good.... But after eating here at Barbacoa, now we know what an EXCELLENT Churrascaria is! The high quality and flavor of the meat at Barbacoa are obvious from the first bite of food, to the last. As you can see in my pictures, the food is fresh, colorful and plentiful. One thing that stood out was the roasted pineapple. It had a very strong pineapple flavor. I've never had such good flavorful pineapple like this. The flavor of all the food is amazing, and the staff is very friendly and fast. Our server was Gabi. She is very attentive. She made sure our glasses were never empty and quickly attended to all of our requests. Churrascarias in the USA need to come to Tokyo and learn what real Brazilian food should...
Read moreWe definitely prefer Barbacoa in Marunouchi or Shibuya. The food quality is the same, but the service at Aoyama place fails. Last order meat was not served, we had to ask several times. Waiting time killed the pleasure of good food. Waiter brought rarely done whole peace and we got, that they served everuthing and just tried to skip grilling the new peace before closing the lunch time. It is business and understandable, but still you feel fooled as a custumer. By this thing the birthday song was ruined, it wasnt enough time for it and we had to ask twice and wait for the second picture (it was...
