Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel — Attraction in Urayasu

We stayed in a “Wish” Standard Room, which was bright and colourful. We love the mural covering one entire wall depicting Disney characters enjoying attractions at the Parks. The room was spacious enough to easily accommodate two adults and two children. The beds were comfortable enough though the mattresses were a tad firm which is the norm in Japan.||While adult pajamas were provided in the room, we had to go to Guest Services for the children's pajamas. We found the pajama material stiff and coarse so didn't end up wearing them but the kids loved the children’s slippers and toothbrush. The free Disney themed toiletries was a nice plus and super cute—toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, amenity kit (cotton swabs, cotton balls, hair elastic) and body sponge.||We took the complimentary Wish & Discover shuttle bus each day to the Disney parks, and while the shuttle took anywhere between 15-25 minutes, it was convenient. We received a daily shuttle bus timetable at check-in and the front desk was very helpful in suggesting what time we should aim to leave if we wanted to beat the crowd.||While we had purchased our park tickets in advance, we could have waited and bought tickets at Guest Services since entry to the park is guaranteed for hotel guests even if tickets are sold out online. We did receive “Happy Entry” to Tokyo Disneyland, which allowed us to enter the park through a Special Entrance 15 minutes earlier than other guests. We were asked to pick a date so the hotel could print our date specific Special Entrance Pass.||There is an on-site convenience store, Wish Snacks & Sundries, that sells pretty much everything from toothpaste and hairbrush to band-aids and diapers to ramen and fried chicken, and smaller Disney souvenirs items like princess figurines. It is a Disney version of 7-Eleven and we loved it. In fact, our first dinner in Tokyo was from this store! We were so tired and jetlagged after a 16-hour travel day, we picked up pasta, ramen and fried chicken from the shop and ate it in our hotel room. It was surprisingly really good!||We loved breakfast at the Wish Café. We purchased our breakfast buffet tickets at a vending machine across the hall from the restaurant entrance, ¥1900 for adults and ¥900 for kids (approximately $17CAD and $8CAD). For that price, we were amazed at the selections available and how wonderful everything tasted! The same fresh baked goods and the cold selections were offered every morning while hot food selections rotated daily. There were croissants, pancakes, fresh bao buns, cold and hot soups, salads, fried rice, pasta, fresh fruits and more.||Lastly, the Disney Shop was a bit odd as it displays merchandise samples only, with examples of use shown on the monitors. To purchase an item, you had to scan a QR code to open the online shopping site in the Tokyo Disney Resort app. This app is in Japanese with delivery restricted to Japan. But there is a Disney souvenir brass coin press machine tucked into a little alcove near the Wish Café restaurant.||As far as value goes, the hotel exceeded my expectations. You honestly can’t do better than the Tokyo Disney Celebration for the full but cost-conscious...

I’m a single mom living here in Japan. Both my son and myself absolutely LOVE Disney everything! So I booked a special trip for him and I to Tokyo Disney resort to celebrate both of our birthdays. I didn’t have enough to book with the higher end Disney hotels and initially was weary of a value hotel as I’ve been to some here in Japan and didn’t have good experiences before. But once we entered, the staff were absolutely welcoming and warm. Due to covid, they had everyone spread out and had dots placed on the floor as a standing placements. There was hand sanitizer stations and everyone was following safety and health guidelines. Check it was easy and quick. Again, staff was very warm and patient with me. After checking in, directly next to the check in counters, are two elevators. Boarded and got to our room. ||Surprisingly pretty decent sized for a value hotel, view was okay, bed was spacious and everything was clean, neatly organized and easy to understand. They provided matcha instant packets along with a electric kettle which was perfect. There’s a small fridge and safe below the tv stand hidden in drawers so the kids I assume wouldn’t get in. Next to those are drawers for clothes which held pajamas. There were also plenty of towels, basic amenities, a stepping stool for younger kids, a coat rack, and Disney slippers. Aside from the twin beds that I’ve pushed together for my toddler and I to sleep in together, there were two day beds on opposite sides of the room separated by a coffee table. They were next to a large window which had a decent view. ||Best part of the room is the mural on the wall! Absolutely gorgeous! ||Black out curtains worked perfectly by the way! Didn’t realize it was morning until I checked my phone! Haha. Breakfast isn’t complimentary but I highly recommend trying at least once if not your entire stay! Delicious and lots of various things to eat. ||From the hotel to the park, you’ll need to board a shuttle bus which comes several times a day. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the park but honestly the ride isn’t bad at all and you’re at the park before you know it. ||I absolutely recommend this hotel.
