I like history stuff. Thank Google for Google Translate. This place details how education evolved over time in Japan. Including a section about WW2. I found that mildly disturbing - unfortunately, my Google Photos failed to capture all the GTranslate snaps I uploaded, but there is one image here showing kids being taught about weapons in a vocational format. Complete with propaganda blurbs.

山形北高の一角にある資料館。 サイト等で案内されている駐車場には2022年5月現在工事の現場事務所が建っており北側に隣接する市有地の駐車場の一部が教育資料館に割り当てられています。 内部の天井と床が板張りになっておりそれぞれが対称の角度で斜め張りになっており凝った意匠。 内部の展示も丁寧で見応えがあります。 木彫り？の人形による再現展示は山形ならでは？ 隣に立っている北高の旧講堂の建物も老朽化により封鎖されていますが大変立派な建物なのでこちらも修繕され公開されたら嬉しいですね。 隣の高校から吹部の練習の音が漏れ聞こえなんだか懐かしい気分になりました。
