Kok Tobe Hill Gondola Cableway — Attraction in Almaty

Kok Tobe is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've visited in Almaty. I absolutely loved the stunning view from the top — the cityscape combined with the surrounding mountains is just breathtaking. 🌄

The park itself is well-maintained and has such a relaxing atmosphere. The cable car ride going up was a fun and scenic experience, and once you reach the top, there’s even more to enjoy. I especially appreciated the walking paths — they offer a perfect space for a peaceful stroll and quiet moments with nature.

Kok Tobe Hill is very nice place to visit in Almaty. It is only 5 minutes by car from city center. We went with gondola cableway and the view was amazing! You can see whole city from up there. The ride is short but very fun.

On the top, there are many things to do. Some small cafes where you can sit and drink tea or coffee and enjoy the mountain air. It is very peaceful and beautiful. We took many photos.

If you travel with children, it is also good place. There are many activities for kids like small amusement park, mini zoo, and playground.

One of the highest points overlooking Almaty, this area contains a small amusement park, two restaurants, a small zoo, & incredible views. Access is via paid bus, with parking at the base of the hill. Cost is very reasonable. At the top you can walk around freely & partake of whatever is available. The television tower is nearby, & gives perspective to the high mountains surrounding the city. Tourist trinkets are available for those who are interested.
