Colibri — Local services in Almaty

I recently visited Colibri Shopping Center in Almaty, and it turned out to be a great place for both shopping and dining. Located at 170 Shokan Ualikhanov Street, this boutique shopping complex features a selection of luxury and designer stores, including some truly unique pieces from Kazakhstani designers. My wife is a big fan of local designers, and we found some really interesting fashion items that you won’t see anywhere else.

The atmosphere in Colibri is cozy and stylish, making it a pleasant place to browse and explore. One of the highlights is the food zone on the first floor, where you can grab a meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and enjoy it right there. There is a very pleasant armosphere here. The goods at the mall and grosseries at the store are a bit pricey. They position themselves as a mall with locally made (Kazakh) items in boutiques. So you can find toys, home goods, imported cosmetics and clothes here. The grocery store has a variety of imported goods, cheeses that westerners would miss in Kazakhstan and their choice of bread is full of delicious options. A nice stylish place. Cafes are good: one with delicious ice creams, another with good burgers. A popular bar Barmaglot is also here.
