Mombasa used to be a beautiful place and the people were are proud of their town. Now...... all that is left is the name and land marks. So much has happened and things will never be same again. The beaches are still beautiful and we have the rehabilitated Mama Ngina drive. The kiosks need an up-grade and they need to be spread out along the whole area. Many kiosks are concentrated in one area making it harder for people who didn't get parking near the kiosks to buy the famous crisps and madafu. Otherwise a few places are are still...

Waterfronts and Fort Jesus are nice, but otherwise there is absolutely nothing to see in terms of sightseeing - if you’re staying in one of the resorts either side of it I wouldn’t recommend going (between hotel taxis, guides, and admission tickets it can add up to an expensive excursion definitely...
