"Stumbras" Museum — Attraction in Kaunas

It's not a big one, but interesting. Covers the history how this distilery was founded and evolved as the time went. You'll find items dating back to 19th century and bottled drinks that are older then most of the visitors. Collection of labels will definitely bring back old memories of the parties parents used to have. If you'll take a tour to the distilery (mixing facilities rather) you'll see how drinks are created. This in fact changed my understanding how the drinks are made nowadays. Aquarium hobyists will find quite a lot of things they can relate to and I'm not saying that they are heavy drinkers. A separate room for filtration. Now that could support quite a big pond. A barrel of over 7K of liters (that's where the drinks are mixed) looks quite impresive. Having in mind it stands to a number of others that are exactly the same. And all of this had a huge impact on the economy, culture and a a lot other things....
