We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Homestead Kundasang! The bungalow, thoughtfully designed and owned by Margaret, is a true gem. Nestled near Kundasang town, it offers convenient access to amenities while providing a peaceful and tranquil retreat away from the crowds.
One of the highlights of the home is the breathtaking two-story glass window in the living room, which frames a stunning view of Mount Kinabalu. The house is beautifully surrounded by a flowering garden, adding to its charm. Every corner of the home exudes warmth, comfort, and a sense of home, as it is indeed Margaret’s personal residence. The place is well-equipped with everything a guest could need—boiled drinking water, a water heater, cooking utensils, and all the essentials.
Margaret is not just an exceptional host but also a gracious and thoughtful guide. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing local insights on where to get groceries for our steamboat dinner and recommending hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed. Her suggestions on where to go (and what to skip) truly enriched our trip!
She stayed with us throughout our visit, and we appreciated her kindness and hospitality. Despite our kids making some noise on the timber flooring at night and an unfortunate baby mishap on the bedsheets during checkout, she remained incredibly polite and understanding.
If we ever return to Kundasang, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Homestead again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, well-located, and welcoming place to stay with an...
