I was in Mount Austin and decided to pay a visit to ‘Little Paris’. The reason for its nickname is because of this European-looking apartment which has Parisian window grilles on its balconies. On the ground floor of the apartment are retail outlets and dining establishments. One of the restaurants, a Thai eatery called Cafe de Flore has an interesting European style facade. Do look out for a miniature Statue Of Liberty which stands facing the main road. Apart from these, there is nothing interesting here. As my visit falls on a weekday afternoon, I was unable to ascertain if this place is livelier during the night.

The place felt a bit empty and it seems that some of the tenants have pulled out of the mall. It felt like a fashion sort of mall with alot of boutique pop up fashion apparel outlet. I think I saw some fine dining at the end and the exterior is very well decorated especially the garden and water features. If it wasn't raining, you can go out and take some pictures with their decor and a mini Paris scripture.. Plenty of parking opportunities too. Unfortunate this place just felt rundown. The colours are dull, the place is dirty and filled with leaf litters. There are a few shops and bars nearby but that’s about it.
You could snap a few good photos here if you find the right angles but honestly, this is nothing like Paris.
