Hotel Shiki — Hotel in Johor

hotel facilities is the best compare to other 2 star and 3 star i went. this is kind of gbw hotel standard. there is lift for you to access and lots of parking space. downstair and across a road are tons of food stall and massage shop. hotel have hair dryer and fridge. thought the tv once a while will out of connection but still okay and their king bed are huge. wifi is very good and no cut off connection compare to those budget hotel i went, their internet always got cut off. the staff are friendly especially the chinese lady. will come again to book this hotel.

update:i drop the star this time on June 2024 this malay lady service very poor and she only speak malay and understand only abit. toilet had clogged and they did help unclogged thought but room cleanup gonna remind everyday if u staying many days.no tv remote control working and wifi...

Booked 2 rooms fr 17 to 19 Dec. Specifically requested for non-smoking room. Checked in at about 3pm and 1 room that we got reeked of cigarette while the other room's aircon wasn't working.

We informed the frontdesk but was told that it couldn't change rooms for us as it's fully booked. Was told to leave the aircon running to cool the room. For the room that reeked of cigarette smoke, they could only spray air freshener.

By 12am, the room still wasn't cool enough so we demanded a change. And we were given a smaller room. We had to call the front desk several times bcos there wasn't toilet paper, tissue paper nor toiletries.

Will be my last time staying in this hotel. Location wasn't the best within Austin as it's tucked at a far...

If I can give zero stars I would. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Highly recommend NOT TO COME. Room is below average. Price per night is so expensive. Worst thing of all, the night staff on duty promised us a late check out is possible with a late check out fee I totally have no objections with that. The next day last min call us and say customer book the room. We have to scram asap on top of that, charging us a late 2 hours check out, when we did our check out prior before the hours. Completely unacceptable! The management is ridiculously rude and front service staff gave a black face even when fault is at their end.
