I would give this negative stars if I could. Pls read this review before you decide to book. We stayed one night on Deepavali eve (originally 2 nights but had to cancel 1 due to personal reason, thank God!)
Firstly, the building itself is in poor condition. Then the apartment itself is also in poor condition. Paint peeling off the wall, towels were old and thin with mouldy smell, bed sheets were so worn that it was furring and itchy to sleep on, no water provided (there was a kettle to boil water but given the condition of everything else, I don't trust the hygiene of the kettle). Honestly find this completely unacceptable. I mean you are charging more than RM300 per night, how much does a replacement towel and bed sheets going to cost you? It is like the management does not care about the guests experience and only want to maximise one time returns from each guest. The curtains with stars cut out was also totally impractical as the room was still brightly lit at night and esp by 6am. They also didn't bother with a blind/curtains on the kitchen window which is open concept to the living room with the extra loft beds. The corridor lights through this window made it too bright for anyone to have a good sleep. Toilet roll only left with less than half and of poor quality, zero bathroom amenities except for a pathetic 2 in 1 soap and shampoo which wasn't even placed in the shower area (there was a miserable looking soap dispenser that was empty) but behind the toilet bowl. No soap for washing hands at the vanity which was located outside the bathroom. Aircon took forever to cool down and the living room one could not cool down the space at all.
The best part was, this was supposed to be my last vacation break before arrival of baby at 32 weeks pregnant. However, my husband, my 3 yo and I could not have any sleep at all the whole night. From 10pm, there were punks setting off illegal fireworks, revving loud engines of illegally modified cars, racing up and down the road just right outside the window of this apartment. This went on every hour for half an hour each time so my poor kid woke up every 30mins to this insane noise. Sound proofing is non existent. Even when they were gone circling the other parts of the estate, I could still hear them.
I finally tried my luck reaching out to the management at 330am, and surprisingly they were still awake. Unfortunately their response was pretty unsympathetic. "It is not our apartment's problem" was their first response "we'll try the police" (only at my suggestion). Then, no police came as the charade went on till 530am. They also mentioned that this was normal for Deepavali (or pub hol) which then begs the question why this was not disclosed and how is it they actually charge a higher rate for pub hol?
I thought this would be the end of my complaint but no... At around 1030am, we were in the midst of packing up to check out, the power suddenly tripped. Check out time was 11 and we were almost leaving so I didn't bother getting help. But i can't help wondering if the power trip was a design to kick us out of the apartment.
The slide feature in the room is meant to attract family with kids but this is completely not child friendly at all. If u intend to not get any sleep at all then maybe this is the place for u. Else, do avoid...
