I was visiting the place yesterday and im really excited to try the best coffee in Muar after watching majestic Johor promoting this place... so we drove all the way from Johor Bahru ...on arrival we were so lucky to have the parking just in front the shop (which this place were facing heavy traffic main road) so we try the coffee n traditional butter kaya bread and gladly so sedap.. so because were so happy we bought few instant pack as ole2..
However...here the story begin.. came out from the shop we saw there a double park car that block our car... we thought its gonna be a while but its not.. so we was trying to ask a help from the staff who were incharge SOP at the door.. and sadly she a bit unresponsive and said that the car owner is not entering the coffee shop and ask me to see around.. so with the frustrated feeling i was walking to the nearby shop and asking one by one.. but still none.. then we press the car honk few time.. but still no one came. Then again i try to talk with the other staff of the coffee shop but still she not helping..and gave the same answer.. im really frustrated.. then one of the take away customer try to help and suggest to try shouting inside the shop since she used to face the same problem... but im not doing that.. im still being rational and again trying to seek the staff help at least if she can asking their customer.. since this the 3rd atempt, she finally asking the customer inside and the first table she asked is the owner of the car.... pheeeew finally and this scene happened is around 20-30 minutes .. can you guys imagine with a really hot weather and im feel like burning ... im a bit frustrated not totally to the owner of the car but to the staff of the coffee shop.. To the owner of the coffee shop.. you should know that this scene is not the first time.. ur shop is famous.. many people want to come.. but with a limited parking this scene posibility will happen frequently.. you guys should know better than me.. if your staff is a lil helpful i would so happy to...
Read moreI recently visited Kopi 434 and while the food was excellent, my experience was tarnished by the rude behavior of one of your staff members. The lady, who is berbadan besarr and wears black-framed glasses, displayed an unacceptable attitude. As a customer facing service everyday, she should maintain professionalism and courtesy, but instead, her tone was loud, disrespectful, and unprofessional. My family and I were shocked by her conduct, as it lacked basic etiquette.
I believe that employees like her need to be trained in customer service and proper behavior, as it severely impacted our experience. On the other hand, the male staff members, possibly from Bangladesh or Indian guy, were much more respectful and courteous, my family give 5 star for that guy. Very polite and gentle. which made a significant positive difference.
I hope you address this issue with the relevant staff and ensure better training in professionalism and manners, especially when dealing with customers. This unpleasant experience has left us with a negative impression, and we would think twice before returning to your establishment. But when i teringat that guy punya good manners yes one day will come back. Dahla kita from KL jauh2 datang. Bad experience with that lady. When teringat about that lady berbadan besar tu rasa menyampah nak pergi lagi. I dont care who are you or who we are but in life...
Read moreLocation is good , center of town , parking might ve difficult. The staff is friendly and waiting to serve and answer questions. The menu is quite large. The drinks menu is quite comprehensive but for the food it's the typical kopitiam style food ( it's not a bad thing btw ) .
The ambiance is what you're really paying for. The restaurant looks amazing and you might get confused when finding this shop as its called elephant coffee bean ( if not mistaken) and the kopi 434 is only visible if you're standing on the opposite side of the road, ( it's the yellow shop) not to be mistaken wirh another kopitiam at the side.
The food is good. I ordered the nasi lemak with egg and my friend ordered the nasi lemak wirh ayam. It was nice and portion was good. The otak- otak was nice as well. Their toast was good and passed the butter to toast ratio (kidding).
The drinks on the other hand was a let down for me. I have been to plenty of kopitiams and I know that the coffee I drank was their signature elephant milk coffee ( if I am not mistaken) , and it was abit diluted for my liking. It was not as strong as other coffee shops or kopitiams.
Overall nice experience, will...
