   Read morePantai Desaru was a bit of a letdown for us. We thought it would be accessible anytime, but turns out you need to visit during specific hours, and it closes at 6 PM. Unfortunately, that meant we missed the sunset. You need to pay an entrance fee which is fine by us.
There’s not much to do here. Not much facilities either. The water isn’t clean—dark and a bit muddy—not like the beaches we’re used to. While it might work for surfers, it’s not very enjoyable for swimming, especially if you have kids. The waves are strong.

Consider clean but still can see some rubbish on the beach, hope people can do our part to help to maintain the beach cleanliness. Bring home all the plastic that you brought along.
