Pantai Desaru, also known as Desaru Beach, is a very popular destination. It is a beautiful beach, perfect for relaxing and taking photos.

The beach has clean sand and clear water. It’s a great place for walking along the shore, having a picnic, or just enjoying the view. However, the waves can be strong sometimes, so swimming may not always be safe, especially for children.

There are resorts, hotels, and restaurants nearby. You can also enjoy fun activities like banana boat rides, jet skiing, and fishing. Families and couples often visit for a weekend getaway. It’s peaceful during weekdays but can get crowded on weekends and public holidays.

Overall, Pantai Desaru is a lovely place to enjoy nature and spend time with loved ones. It’s a great spot for a short and...

Pantai Desaru was a bit of a letdown for us. We thought it would be accessible anytime, but turns out you need to visit during specific hours, and it closes at 6 PM. Unfortunately, that meant we missed the sunset. You need to pay an entrance fee which is fine by us.

There’s not much to do here. Not much facilities either. The water isn’t clean—dark and a bit muddy—not like the beaches we’re used to. While it might work for surfers, it’s not very enjoyable for swimming, especially if you have kids. The waves are strong.

Overall, it’s not the best spot for a family beach day. Maybe more suited for a quick visit or water sports...

Good place to picnic and build sand castle. Kids very enjoying, so does adults, we are playing kite, and makaning there.. well leisure time for families. Consider clean but still can see some rubbish on the beach, hope people can do our part to help to maintain the beach cleanliness. Bring home all the plastic that you brought along. Got beach crew there to help to keep an eyes on the safety of visitors and remind visitors to clean up the picnic place after use. Parking fees is RM6 per entry. Go earlier to avoid disappointed for...
