Istana Kota Lama — Attraction in Kelantan

I was borned and raise at Kg Kota Lama. My village located just opposite the main road where the king of kelantan state lives. Sometimes the son of the ruler enter our village with his luxurious sports . Every year when an annual celebration for the king birthday was held we use to watched the celebration and the VIP dignities entering the palace. This was forty years ago before the sultan palace move to kubang kerian. Now.my villages is not the same anymore . Most of the kampong folks move or built a new residence somewhere else and the elders mostly passed away . Empty house was rented to outsiders whom we regard as strangers. Now my mother and her elder daughter with her family still live jn this kampung together with four other families. Gone are the days when kid like me could cycle freely , climb rambutan and mangosteen trees and play football bare footed...
