The Birch, Jalan Ipoh — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

Positives: Convenience - Everything is available at stretch of a hand. Value for money - If own stay. Developer reputation is good and project looks very promising. Timely completion. Nearest public transport - Sentul West MRT station around same time as completion of the project. Easy access to main road and still quiet like a residence. Eateries, Groceries, hotels, restaurants, salon, laundry, provision, medical stores, etc all at arm's length. Schools, temples, churches, mosques, hospitals, banks, superstores, Fuel station, Police Station, etc nearby. Smart architecture with unique concepts by the developer.

Negatives: The surrounding riverfront view needs facelift. Can’t expect much rental or very high return on investment. View blocked by surrounding projects. No rooftop facilities in either of the 2 towers. As a nice deck on rooftop could have given the residents, a distant view of Petronas...

As a resident to this place the security guard is very rude and keep asking me if I'm a resident which i show him my card directly to his face and then he lecture me about the card to get it fixed, which of course I'll later since it past 5 PM and the office already close.

I thought after the damn lecture he able to let me go up but he said he can't, so am I gonna stay in the lobby till tomorrow when the office open to get it fix is it.

I have explain to him 2 times or more and he keep asking if I'm resident of this apartment, which yes I am but then keep asking again, I told him in English and malay still don't understand, now I'm stranded outside waiting for my brother to come from work and so I can go to my house and thats take me another 2 hours of waiting time.

Kinda regret getting this...

400m @ 5 minute walking to MRT without cover, the main population surrounding is Indian. it's indian food heaven, a lot of variety indian street food just infront this condo. chinese restaurant is 500m @ 7 minutes walking distance, but not much option. Need to walk furthur about 1km @ 10minutes to get chinese hawker stall. MRT user who cannot live without chinese food isn't the best option here unless u have car to drive u for food or u willing to spend on expensive chinese restaurant nearby. overall it's good cz u can use food...
