TPL Fresh Meats • Bangsar — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

Buying goat-meat here since 2017. I'll always be in the car outside & send my mom to purchase. Old / previous staffs are no more. Was told boneless goat meat are not available for today tomorrow or one month later. So mom purchased only-leg & bone mix for RM 65/kg. Using sensitive scale at home the bones alone with minute traces of meat weighs 423g /kg. Very disappointing. Most bones were huge pieces of femoral-head. I hope to get answers / reply for this kinda sales.

This was first experience with tpl, I usually buy goat meat in other places and never have anyone complained on the texture of the meat. But this time I bought 1kg boneless and 1 kg mixed with bone. The meat was not tender and meat was a lot of fats and sluggish. All those came for my meat today was disappointed with the quality. When I ordered the meat I told the man I want goat meat cut small and remove fat but what I got qas different. The man's in the family said it's not goat but mixed....

When they initially opened for business, the staff used to be so friendly but now, they always have this sour face that gives the impression that they are giving the meat away for free.Quality of meat is good but staff need to lighten up...a lot!! Update three years later : They have lightened up a lot the past year or so. Excellent and friendly service. Quality of meat is very good, which has always been the case. Gets pretty crowded during weekends. So, be early to avoid long...
