United Point — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

You know a mall isn't good when

you search on Google for United Point Mall and the mall comes up as just United Point without the word Mall.

you go for the karaoke in their Manekineko branch there and it's the worst branch you've been to with their WiFi login not working and they blame you and your phone by having 3 of their staff log in their phones until you show them that you could log in to their Manekineko branch WiFi in Setapak Central Mall 5 days ago to download all the songs you sang there so it's not your phone that is the problem before they begrudgingly refund you with black face and ignore you.

you eat from 3 stalls in their nice looking hidden-at-the-back food court with nice looking pictures of the food that looks different from what they serve and doesn't taste good and have slight stomach ache after you go home.

you pass by one of their shops that promises to treat cancer without chemotherapy radiation or surgery which is scientifically not...

It's not your usual shopping mall. There are not many shops and most of them cater to the residents there. Notably are the pet care ones; they number quite a few. And then there's an Aeon supermarket. It's not like the usual Aeon supermarket with lots of stuff and variety but it's OK. At least it carries a lot of household stuff and some clothing; yes, for the added convenience of the residents there. We ate in the Thai restaurant; it was pretty good. There's also a restaurant at the 5th floor, large enough for weddings and events. We wanted to dine there but it was closed for a wedding banquet. However, I've heard that the food there was just so-so. Parking was sufficient and inexpensive. It was a little confusing finding the parking basement but maybe...

The problem with this mall is that they lack proper training with their guards. The management let their guards act like thugs. They are such an arrogant bunch and a nuisance. They are rude and think they're locals can behave like they can do whatever they want. Every time I want to pickup or drop off someone I'll get chased off right the second I reached the entrance without even reasoning that you're there for a mere few minutes as though if we have nothing better to do just to stick around.
