Mille Caffe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

About 20+ of us went there today after a work event. We had already reserved tables prior to our visit. There were only 4 customers who were already eating when we arrived. 2 were almost done with their meal.

Refused to allow us more tables than what was reserved, so we manage to squeeze everyone into the two reserved tables.

He was reluctant to remove the ice from the drinks that was served with the set meal.

Service was really slow despite the restaurant being empty except for us. We ordered individual meals. We waited almost 45 minutes before the first order arrived (which was a tiny bowl of mushroom soup). When my friend asked if she can have it as a take away, the guy said "I don't think so" She asked, why not? He said, "Er...It has already been prepared". He finally went and asked whoever it was & got it packed for her.

Served the wrong burger meal to one of us (who ate it unknowingly) and my colleague who had ordered hers never got her meal even after more than an hour (She finally had it to take-away)

The last person there to receive her meal (Pasta Alfredo - seriously how hard is it to make pasta Alfredo??) waited patiently for 1hr 45m till hers arrived. And she had been one of the first to order. Meanwhile, they had just another 2 new customers.

The waiter was super polite but everything was a 'NO' with him. Eg, "Can you please ask the the kitchen if they can serve my son's meal first? He is not well & hungry" "Er....I don't think they can. They go according to the order." "Can you please go & try". He said reluctantly, "Ok, I'll try". If a child has to wait more than an hour for their meal this place IS NOT KID FRIENDLY AT ALL!!!

Overall, I just find the service so bad, I will NEVER recommend the place to ANYONE at all!!! And they made RM400+ from my boss for their...

I have viewed a lot review and have no idea why there’s bad comment on it. So far, I think this cafe is not bad as my 2 kids like the drink, food, environment and etc. the staff here always fulfill my requests. Always, cannot judge a book by it cover as different people has different character. Some ppl might look serious but doesn’t mean they are not providing a good service. On the outside it just looks like a coffee and cake shop, but who would have known that it actually does pretty good main meals as well? I recommend the chicken chop, it is tender and juicy on the inside, whilst the skin is crispy on the outside.

The coffee, cakes and sandwiches are nice but on the pricey side. Recommend their croissants, especially the egg one.
