Cili Kampung CenangHill — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in Langkawi. We went here and ordered just fried bihun and a watermelon juice — nothing fancy. But the way we were treated was just disgusting.

The female staff — short, loud, and clearly has an attitude problem — treated us locals like we were invisible. We just wanted to order, but she started yelling across the restaurant instead of coming over. The moment foreigners walked in, her entire face changed — sweet smile, polite tone, even sat with them to explain the whole menu. The double standard was painfully obvious.

Not only that, the place is NOT baby-friendly. The baby chair they gave us had nails sticking out — a complete safety hazard. Shows how little they care about families or basic customer safety.

And the price? Nearly RM30 for bihun goreng and juice. Absolute daylight robbery for such poor service and unsafe facilities.

This was our first and definitely last visit. Never again. Avoid...

Came here for breakfast. Overall it was a disappointing experience. The only good thing is probably the ambience and decoration of the place. Breakfast menu is limited, the full menu is available for lunch onwards I assume.

We were the only customers at that time. Had a plate of nasi lemak which was quite decent, but for the same price you can get better nasi lemak elsewhere in Langkawi.

The RM 12 cafe latte was apparently made using instant/pre-mix coffee, which is a joke. Totally felt ripped off. Taste super sweet too. At least use a proper coffee machine for that price.

Looking at their price they most probably targeting unsuspecting foreigners. I’m not sure if the experience will be better coming here for lunch. Will not be coming back...

This is 5 stars for me and best dishes in Langkawi. My friends this place is a little hard to find as new (4 weeks). Make sure it is the Cili Kampung CenangHill location as similar name but different on other side of island. Food amazing. Chicken Satay is mental next level. Prawn curry and SeaBass with Sambal is soo OMG Super nice drinks but BYO Booze We discovered this place after JetSking from beach for lunch and up/down stairs at back of the beach cafes. So good we went back next for dinner. Amazing friendly...
