Padang Ipoh is a delightful park that offers a wonderful outdoor experience for visitors of all ages. Located in the heart of Ipoh, this park provides a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

The park is well-maintained and offers a wide range of activities for visitors. There are walking and jogging paths that are perfect for exercise enthusiasts, as well as open spaces that are great for picnics and playing games with family and friends. The park also has a playground that is perfect for young children.

One of the standout features of Padang Ipoh is its beautiful lake, which is home to a variety of aquatic plants and animals. Visitors can rent paddleboats to explore the lake or simply sit by its shores and admire its tranquil beauty.

In addition to its recreational offerings, the park also has several amenities that make it a great place to spend the day. There are clean public restrooms, plenty of benches and picnic tables, and ample parking for visitors.

Overall, I highly recommend Padang Ipoh to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience in Ipoh. Whether you are looking for a place to exercise, relax, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of the area, this park has something...

Overall, the Ipoh Light & Sound show at Ipoh Padang requires significant updates and improvements to enhance visitor satisfaction and make it a truly captivating attraction.

Content Repetition: The show features the same story year after year. There are no updates or new content to keep it engaging. Incomplete Display: Only half of the display is visible, making it difficult to understand the full story. The rest of the display remains dark. Visitor Experience: Many visitors, including foreign tourists, find it disappointing and embarrassing. The incomplete display and repetitive content detract from the experience. Suggestions for Improvement: Introduce new and engaging stories, possibly from local storytellers like Mamat Khalid, or offer English-language versions of popular local cartoons such as "Kampung Boy" to attract and engage a wider audience. Show Timing: Although the notice board states that the show starts at 9:00 PM, it typically begins at 9:20 PM. Management: The project is managed by the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) in collaboration with the Ipoh City Council (MBI). It was inaugurated on May 14, 2022, with a total investment of...

A good place to jog. Non tarmac but pavement. Brightly lit. Unfortunately too many Indian youngsters during the wee hour. I went there early at 5am to train for my long run but was quite disturbed with the group gathering there for beers. They also turn on the car audio speakers. Quite disturbing. No police being seen patrolling that area.

You can see few groups there. They also threw snack pack or can there. Quite a lot of rubbish around the padang. If only the authority can patrol that area more often, the padang will be a great place for exercises.

I have seen few aunties or family members coming around...

Nice wide open spaces for jogging and various sports activities. As it is located within walking distance from Ipoh Railway station for easy meetup with friends/relatives, the location also means accessible food stalls at the nearby old town area (not to be confused with the chain restaurant Old Town!) Parking are limited but the lots nearby to the mosque are usually free unless it is Friday afternoon.

Very big field, clean, plenty of parking around this area - but make sure you have parking coupon 😝🙈, there is restaurant 🍜🍧🍨🍵☕ around here like Miker ~ (operating at night), Old Town White Coffee, restaurant Latif "mamak food" and other restaurant but have to walk a bit down to old town area. Banks and mosque are near by too✨. Padang Ipoh one of the hot spot for runner / joggers in Ipoh.
