Still feeling full after the delicious curry mee from Yee Fatt, the tummy screamed for desserts before checking into our hotel. Remember, there's always space for desserts.
Rather than the popular Funny Mountain, I suggested Big Mom Beancurd that is also selling the same thing - Taufu fah - for a change. There is also another stall selling snacks which we couldn't refuse to try.
◾Taufu Fah (Hot Beancurd) - customisable with 3 types of sugar namely white, brown & ginger; with 6 toppings available... while we agreed that the taufu fah here was not as smooth as Funny Mountain's, it was still good and we could add toppings such as red beans, peanut & sesame, ginkgo, peach resin and grass jelly. ◾peanut mochi aka loh mai chi was good with thin skin and sweet & savoury peanut fillings. ◾cucur udang & glutinous rice made up for the kids who didn't eat curry mee earlier. ◾Herbal Jelly to cool down the body under the sweltering heat. ◾Soy Milk without sugar for on the road.
With proper tables and chairs, this place is more convenient to enjoy a bowl...

One of the best Tofu Fa (Tofu Custard/Pudding) in Ipoh. The Tofu Fa is so silky smooth and soft!
Modern twist Tofu Fa with various toppings like peanut, red bean, grass jelly and tang yuan (glutinous sweet rice balls), that make it become more enjoyable to eat. Personally like Tofu Fa with pumpkin tang yuan and chrysanthemum sugar. Something different from the usual Tofu Fa we had everyday. The ginger syrup and brown sugar syrup, tasted good as well. Prices are far more cheaper too than their nearest competitors.
For the soy milk they have original, matcha, and purple sweet potato and it can come with grass jelly.
There are stalls selling Chee Cheong Fun and kuih muih as well.
The owner and team are very friendly, helpful and courteous. I was so grateful when the owner went beyond, held an umbrella and sent me into car when it was heavy poured out there. That's super service! Thank you so...
