We dropped by OldTown White Coffee while exploring Ipoh, and it ended up being a really solid pick for a casual meal. We tried the nasi lemak with crispy chicken, and it came as a set with a drink and an ice cream sandwich for dessert – super worth it for the price! The crispy chicken was satisfying, and the whole set felt like a complete, comforting meal.

Of course, we couldn’t skip the iced white coffee. We both went for the less sugar option, and it was still rich and smooth. The freshly pressed coffee beans really made a difference – there’s a noticeable freshness when you dine in, and it blends so well with the milk.

A walking distance from the train station, this is my go-to break place in Ipoh. There's the cosy atmosphere and the food quality is great here that made me come back for more. I've ordered the gravy hor fun which was really flavourful and experimented with their new items in the menu - charcoal bun and cheese cap coffee. The charcoal bun is not the highlight here, but the 3 types of kaya that goes with it! You get to taste the difference in the type of kaya. The cheese cap coffee was surprisingly good!
