Came here to buy lotus root this morning, as with most farmers market, price is subjected to the whims and fancies of the sellers here, and mostly are deceitful ones. Itās my first few times here in this market as I dislike coming to this type of market.
Only the first vege stall sells the type of lotus root I was looking for, the boss mentioned RM18/kg for today, but charged you RM15 lah, and so you thought āOh,I got a good discountā Sometimes, there is this ātoo good to be trueā will play in oneās mind. Upon reaching home, I weighed the piece of lotus root that I bought. It was 295g - RM6.
Would MBPJ do something about it, try calling them yourself, you would get an answer to direct you to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affair. Has anyone any experience with this Ministry? Itās HOPELESS, Donāt bother wasting your time, as in most things in Malaysia, it is there...

And if you donāt want to have rice for ur breakfast then you can opt for noodles or beehoon too.
Their nasi lemak kosong priced at RM3 so you may add whichever ingredients that you want here which I feel their price is very reasonable and itās tasty!
Just come as early as possible as there are times they close their stall by 9ish so just come earlier. And donāt worry they do accept QR payment so itāll be convenient for sure.
