Hmm.. this place is currently under construction BUT it is still open to the public and yes, folks are still coming here to do their exercises. There's a big renovation project going on, the reservoir water itself has been pumped out and there's quite a bit of construction going on. Maybe 80% of the footpath are fine but it's still weird that health & safety of the site is rather poorly considered since anybody could wander onto the construction areas.

Overall, Reservoir Park is a gem for a simple family outing — easy, refreshing, and close enough to the city that you don’t need to plan a full day. Just remember the repellent, and...
Read moreThis park has been one of my most memorable childhood experiences, with beautiful winding paths, and roads, and steps, where my late Grandfather used to bring me and my cousin along for morning jogs, with the promise that if we finish four laps around the park we get the enjoy delicious Sarawak Laksa. As naughty as we were, we cut roads and barely made two laps and start hounding my Grandpa for laksa, and as a loving Grandfather, even if he knew we took short cuts, he brought us for delicious laksa...
