ABC = RM4.00 White Lady = RM5.00
These 2 Desserts are unique to Kuching and this was supposedly a place that specializes in them and are Highly Reviewed and Featured in the many Food Blogs. From some Old Photos in the Shop, this seems like a 老字号. Of course, the Most Adorable Thing you'll notice is their Logo, which is an Obvious Parody of KFC.
That said, some of the Locals I've spoken to, feel that this Shop is Too Touristy and Location too Ulu for them to eat Desserts. Many felt that there are many other places to eat the Same Desserts they are offering here.
ABC ABC is actually short for "Air Batu Campur" which translates to "Mixed Ice". The more familiar name we know is "Ais Kacang" or "Ice Kacang"
And that is exactly what it is. ABC here is a somewhat Mini Sized Version of Ice Kacang, and they don't pile the Shaved Ice up like a Mountain. That said, unlike normal Ice Kacang, ABC focuses alot on Sago and Beans. This is a very Beany Version of Ice Kacang and is not very sweet.
White Lady Compared to ABC, White Lady is a much more Fruitier Dessert. Its also made out of Shaved Ice, but you can find Generous Amounts of Grapes, Peach Slices, Longans, Lychees and Various Jellies and drizzled with a Sweet Lychee Syrup. This is a Much More Sweeter Dessert compared to ABC.
Even though I prefer a Less Sweet Dessert myself, I find myself preferring White Lady compared to ABC. Hahaha I don't know why but perhaps I just felt like eating something Sweeter that day. ABC is Noticeably Less Sweet than White Lady.
What I had was just the Normal Version. I have seen more Epic Ones where its Topped with Generous Amounts of MILO Powder ala "Milo Dinosaur Style".
This Place don't just sell Desserts. If you are craving for something more substantial, there are other Food Stalls available too. Had wanted to try Jellyfish Umai but unfortunately the Stall wasn't open when I was there.
Personally I enjoyed my time here despite claims of being Too Touristy. I do agree though that there are many other places in Kuching that sells ABC and White Lady. These are Common Kuching Desserts. You don't really have to come to this place to eat them.

Read moreOrdered Rojak Buah at the front stall. Super unfriendly and not interested to speak anything. Rojak was 60% tauhu. Found 2 bits of pineapple and no mangoes or any other fruits.
Lo Bak Kor - too clumpy and overpowered by sprinkled black pepper. No taugeh found. Probably one of the worst I have eaten.
Belacan Bihun - not too bad. Tasty and workers were moderately friendly.
Cendol - nothing special. Was almost kosong. Taste was ok. Chendol was ait on the chewy side.
Biggest weakness with this premise is there is no one managing the queue. So someone can arrive later than you while waiting for table and they might get the table if they are nearer to it. Otherwise vendors have to really step up their game, food taste and quality is subpar. This place needs a reboot in accordance to...
Read moreThis is one of the very established coffee shop in Kuching serving the traditional dessert and snacks operating from noon onwards. It is usually pack with customers from all walks of life, which is an affirmation of its local and tourist popularity over the years in operation. Personally I find the white lady here the best because of the jelly and fruits ingredients blend very well with the milk and mango syrup. In fact, the dessert here are all very well done, including the food such as the laksa, lok lok, rojak, sotong kangkung and so on, are also excellent. The only downside perhaps because of the crowd, the dining in here feels rather frenetic and need...
