Read moreNow I really wouldn't believe this was a place of residence for a few lucky dozen. I was only out for a walk and wandered up the hill from the ferry terminal just to have a nosey. Wow! perhaps I shouldn't have been on the premises, signage is misleading but I'm glad I did decide to have a look. It's a fabulous place to live if you have a few bob to invest. Very peaceful and relaxing with glorious views far and wide....
Read moreIf you're in the area and near the time of when the cannon is to be fired it's worth a visit to get close to the action. Also you're able to have a tour and get close to the cannons and have a great view point.
I paid a few €s via the website to get up close to the cannons and I thought it was good value.
Not much else there to do but watch the cannon be fired but...
