Great experience and well worth paying the extra few euros for access to the lower part of the Barrakka Gardens. Included is the audio tour guide and a better up close amazing balcony view of the cities. The staff were very friendly and informative and explained a lot of the battery firing display and tour is funded by donations from the public so we were happy to make a small donation. We initially did the audio tour then came back for the afternoon battery firing as advised by the staff. The access to the lower part allowed us to get an up close view of the firing demonstration with the staff explaining the history and process. Very informative and well worth it....

After that, no bar, no drinks here, just the peace. The view is impressive, so spend some time here, relaxing, contemplating the mighty sea that lays down in front of you, carrying the cruise ships than harbour here from...

The Lower Barrakka Gardens in Valletta is truly a hidden gem! This spot is incredibly calm and peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The views here are absolutely majestic, offering breathtaking panoramas of the Grand Harbour and the surrounding sea. It’s an ideal place to sit, unwind, and take in the beauty of Malta’s coastline. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the lush greenery and historical monuments, makes it a must-visit for anyone in Valletta. Highly recommended for a relaxing and...
