At first I thought maybe I was just having a bad day, but after several different incidents, I decided ro leave a 1-star review here: 1) Luggage wheel broke during the airport - hotel trip. This happens, so I understand it’s just bad luck sometimes. However, they did not let us know when this happened. We found out by ourselves in the room and I felt that was not very honest
It wasn’t a great start. 2) Electricity Power Outage in the room. This happened suddenly 3-6am. I was awake because I had a jet lag. I went down to the front desk to report, but the front desk couldn’t solve the issue, so I had to sleep with no AC during the 1st night. The power came back next morning around 6:30am, but outage cause was unknown. 3) Staffs entered my room without my consent while I was in the toilet. This was HORRIFYING. Around 9:30am in the morning, after breakfast I was using the bathroom. Then all the sudden a man & a woman tried to come in and knocked on the door. The bathroom door was very thick, so although I was using max volumn on my phone to speak out “do not enter” “get out,” they didn’t hear it (and they were chatting, weren’t really paying attention to inside either). After they entered the room, I still keep repeating “get out!” on my phone speaker (I lost my voice so I couldn’t talk). Finally, the woman entered the bathroom and saw me sitting on the toilet, and she finally realized that they should have listened more carefully. When I angrily pointed my index finger to ask to get out, she finally left. This was one of the worst experience at a nice hotel. 4) Room Service menu was a joke. Around 0:10 (12:10am), I wanted to order some food. There was a Late Night Dining 22:00-7:00 section on the Room Service menu, so I ordered a salmon toastie plate along with some bread and water / lemon / honey. HOWEVER, only the bread and water / lemon were delivered. No Main Course!! 😂 My husband called to ask why didn’t the main course come, and the answer was “we are out of salmon.” There are only 4 menu items on the Late Night Dining Menu, but it turned out that they only have 1 left. But they didn’t inform me, so they only gave me the bread / water 😂😂😂😂 The location is pretty, but because of all these problems happened during my stay, I don’t think this place deserves a high price tag like this. Also, for such an expensive hotel bathroom, there is no shower gels / shampoo setting next to the bath tub (they are all glued to the shower room, and the tub is a little far away from the shower). The staffs were friendly, breakfast was not bad, but too many things showed that this place needs better management. (Before I wrote this 1-star review, I tried to contact the Guest Relations a few times. However, I didn’t get a sincere apology after all the incidents. They were friendly but not very helping with my issues. Also their inner communication wasn’t clear. I already told them it was electricity power outage, but they kept mistakening it for AC break down) It was a family trip to Malta strongly suggested by a family member. They told me this is the best hotel in Malta. I will let you be the judge.

We had the best stay at Inalia Harbour House when visiting family in Malta. The service level was top notch from the moment we walked into the hotel and throughout our entire stay. I love a boutique hotel experience and Inalia hit all of the marks for us. Every time we encountered hotel staff they knew us on a last name basis (even if we hadn't met them yet!) Seriously 5-star quality. The views from our room onto the harbour were beautiful, as well! The amenities in this hotel were incredible! The food was definitely the best we had in Vallarta, hands down! The breakfast on the rooftop was not only great in terms of selection, but quality and presentation as well. And the 'ION' restaurant in the evenings - WOW! Michelin star for a reason!! Some of the best food we've ever eaten in the world. Highly, highly recommend booking a reservation while there and don't overlook adding on the wine pairing option with your dinner - they have put in a great deal of refinement into choosing the best wines (my husband went online and ordered nearly all the wines had at dinner for us to enjoy at home.) We didn't have a chance to try out their spa but it looked serene - and the indoor pool looked like something out of a movie! We will definitely have to check it out the next time we're there. The rooms were the perfect size for us since we didn't plan to stay in them all day because we were out and about, but definitely on the smaller side - although I think that's what you'll find in most of Europe. That being said, the rooms were brand new, clean, and beautifully designed! The location for the hotel was also hard to beat - you're right in the center of it all, but you also are situated right on the water so it's quiet and peaceful at night. The best of both worlds! I can't recommend this hotel enough. I usually don't leave reviews for hotels but the staff here went above and beyond, were so friendly and welcoming, the amenities were 5 stars, and the design was breathtaking. We will definitely be staying here on all of our future trips to Malta.

Beauty with an attitude is an unfortunate combination when describing a property that is in the perfect location with an interior design that is up there with some of the best properties around the world.

Scenic this property is, interior design from the lobby, the vault, business center, spa and rooms, breath taking. Typical rustic building structure with that twist of new design.

Professionalism, just lets this property avail the review rating for 2-stars, there simply is no quality in the staff against the quality of the property. Knowledge of the local area when asking questions, is zero, there is just a complete lack of information sources, almost as if they are not willing.

Booked two rooms in this property, excellent, something different to other properties i have visited. The views from the balcony breath taking (first floor has some road noise though). Spacious, well designed and all the luxuries one could need when traveling alone or with family. One of the best rooms i have visited across properties to date. Bathrooms are mix of that traditional touch with a new design, rain showers, spacious and excellent products. Sleeping area, spacious, bed extremely comfortable with a variety of pillows on offer, lines of the highest quality. Dress room, excellent size, living area well designed, small kitchen and an extra bathroom with shower. Overall from the rooms, this property would be rated at 5-Stars.

Spa, tested a 30 minute massage and 30 minute facial, extremely professional service and products utilized of a good quality. Layout of the spa area, again, in line with the property, that traditional rustic touch with an element of today's design concept.

This property offers a roof top restaurant, Michelin Star, and because it is Michelin Star, you are not permitted to visit unless a table is booked for dinner. Pathetic is where one starts with the description. Such a beautiful property and the best views are always on the top, but your not permitted to relax and have a coffee or a cold glass of wine. Attitude. Attitude. Attitude. We actually visited, just to visit and the staff were so rude it was incredible. The interesting part, is the guests seem to have the same attitude, people in cheap chinos, believing they are special, because they booked a table in a Michelin Star.

Breakfast is also served in the same location. On a note, the eggs benedict was soggy and took around 25-Minutes for them to prepare. Since the breakfast location is the same as dinner (Michelin Star), one decided to have a wonder, interesting, wine cabinets covered in finger prints, glasses not cleaned down, yet it is a location of Michelin quality where the basics cannot even be done right. Average breakfast overall, again with employees that have attitudes.

Some advise, for the staff and some of your guests, do not judge one by their dress code, their looks or their easy attitude, it is usually those who you judge are the ones who care for the properties they stay, the quality of service, the quality of the property. Judgement is not a manner of running a property.

Would i come back, for the property, 100%, for the...
