This was just another treasure we found on an adventure to Gozo during our family visit to Malta!
It seems like this museum is in the middle of a quiet neighborhood- no big crowds. It was quaint and intimate.
Of course, my 4 daughters (ages 1-11) were all thrilled to look at each an every one of the toys. And, we were not too surprised to learn that Edward Lear loved his visits to Gozo just as much as we did.
Best for me, though, was having a chance to chat with the woman working there. I love getting to know more about the area we are visiting by chatting with locals. She was working on making a special kind of Maltese lace, which also interested me very much! She was so warm and welcoming.
It's worth spending some time in this sweet museum to soak up...

It brought back lots of memories of the toys I played with then, both mine and my slightly older friends in the village. The people who run the museum are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I'll certainly be visiting this museum again, the next time I'm on Gozo, because I'm sure I missed lots of things with spending so much time reminiscing on the toys. Thank you for taking me...
