David and Jeff are the very kind owners and started '73 in the square' only in spring 2017. It has become my favorite spot to drink a BOMBARDIER, English ale beer which they serve perfectly temperatured from tap. As far as I know it is at present the only real outlet of BOMBADIER on GOZO. Others have a tap but no beer for months! There is also a wonderful range of quality wines and cocktails(*) The service of food has started recently, and there is a nice choice of platters to share for two to accompany the...

For the 2 weeks we were here this was our social anchor. Dave and Tania are lovely people who graft to make sure their bar is well kept and provide a great service. As well as being lovely people, they are really personable and interested. I'm sure that when you keep a bar there has to be a social veneer to some extent but we never got that impression here. Very best of luck for the future guys. To note the draft beer is lovely, a little different to the Cisk, almost like a Weiss beer but...

Great little bar in a great location. It offers a great choice of drinks and cocktails, all for a fair price!

The people who seem to own/manage the place are extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to.

The bar offers food too but is limited however, that being said it has daily specials and a small array of amazing burgers!
