II- Logga was our base during our stay in Gozo. This family owned boutique hotel has rooms with a home styled feel and a top notched restaurant. Quiet hill top location. Breezy with fantastic views from the roof.

SERVICE: Excellent service. We felt well taken care of.

BREAKFAST: Breakfast was included in our stay. We had options of 4 food items that we selected from a list with free-flow toasts, butter / bread spread and beverages like coffee, tea and juice included by default. The breakfast was beautifully presented, high quality and filled us up.

ROOM: Our room was spacious, well-equipped with airconditioning and a ceiling fan. The TV had local and satellite channels. The bed and pillows were homely and we slept well. The toilet was fresh and the shower worked great. Water quality in Gozo though is salty. Although room was flanked by 2 streets with vehicle traffic, with the windows and doors closed, it hardly bothered us.

RESTAURANT: We had some dinners at the restaurant as it was convenient and the food was good. The dishes are excellent. Main dishes comes with sides of roasted vegetables, french fries / fried potatoes. The spiced fried potatoes here were some of the best that I have ever eaten.

Recommend these dishes: Risotto Duo of Rabbit Local Pork Neck Grilled Rib-eye Steak

ROOF TOP POOL: The pool is comfortable for up to 4 people and good for a wind down after a long day of excursions. During our stay, we rarely bump into other guests so we mostly had the place to ourselves. It is unblocked views and sunny throughout the day. In the evenings it becomes more windy and chilly.

LOCATION: For us, it turned out to be a central location to the attractions. The roads are well connected and we could get to our destinations easily. Parking was no issue. We always managed to find free roadside parking close...

The building has some sort of generator running through the centre emitting a hum all day and night. It was very annoying on the 1st night (we were on the top floor) but could not raise anyone at night (9pm) to change our room. The next day we were given another room on the 1st floor, but the low humming constant noise still persisted. We later discovered our reallocated room is right next to this humming generator so very little improvement. Luckily we were equipped with earplugs which we had to use in both ears. This is such a shame, especially because the hotel is situated in a lovely part of Xaragha which is so quiet outside and it has lovely views over the valley. The staff try to be helpful and are friendly. In our opinion this hotel tries to market itself as a boutique hotel, but effectively is more of a bed and breakfast...

We stayed at this boutique hotel for 6 nights.|Rooms are very clean come with coffee and tea making facilities, fan & air con, towels for the pool aswell. |Hotel situated in a quiet area but central for all beaches on the island. Ubers are plenty. |A little shop selling essentials 2 minute walk and a chemist too. |Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. |Breakfast you select 4 items the night before and leave at reception. Plenty to choose from, hot items to cereals fruits yogurt nuts etc. all cooked fresh and good size portions. |Eating at the hotel during your stay is a must. The restaurant is beautiful and relaxing. The food was without doubt a 5 star !!|Fresh, home cooked and off a very high standard. |We would definitely recommend this hotel !! Thanks again to the team at II Logga...

Their cover photo needs updating and is expertly shot to not show that the hotel is in fact not near a green space. It is located at the intersection of two main thoroughfares. The double bedroom we were assigned did not have a proper door to the bathroom. And the bathroom was tiny. They do not show a photo of this on the website. I recommend any guest confirm beforehand verification of the room they are staying in matches the photos. Upon seeing the pics were misrepresented, we agreed to an early checkout after x1 night. However when following up with both hotel and Booking.com, they did not honour this agreement. Charging me for x5 extra nights I did not stay there.

Had Sunday lunch today at the restaurant and it was impressive. The Service is some of the best I have experienced in Gozo - really well done. The food is delicious especially the chicken truffle balls and the prawn pancake. I.had rabbit for maim and this was good but too large a portion. That being said the pulled rabbit part was very tasty. Value for money also. I highly recommend this restaurant.
