I FRIGGIN' LOVE THIS PLACE - machines in here I've never seen. Old timey nickel and penny amusements - guess your fortune - find out how attractive you are - you can even be a peeping tom in a doctor's office for five cents! (Please, for the love of all things fun, don't anyone get sideways about that - I'm sure there's a line of people a mile wide who might choose to get their bloomers in a bunch and start rioting in the streets of Manitou Springs over the outrage of it all - but people - and I mean this with all of God's love - just breathe and take it easy. (Wow - I digress badly.)) This place has THE COOLEST OLD PINBALL MACHINES EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. Come in here and spend six hours, just playing pinball. Then the next day, come play old shoot-em-up games, including a couple vintage submarine/torpedo & anti-aircraft games. Whoever looks after these machines and keeps them functioning is a genius. My hat is off to this person or persons. Coming in here is like visiting a museum, where you get to take all the exhibits out for a ride on the town. Just put in a penny, nickel, dime or quarter and then flip, blink, shoot, bonk, zip, punch, & paddle your way through decades of American arcade glory. It's truly the coolest thing ever.

This was the lowlight of our trip to Colorado springs and the surrounding area, I brought my 11 year old son to the penny arcade to find out games are 1-4 quarters. No big deal, times change prices go up but the games themselves had a lot of errors and eaten coins. My son ended up with 865 tickets and wanted a hat that was 875 it was 10:02 PM or else I'd just have him earn the extra 10 tickets, with time being up I asked the attendant at the prize desk if there was anyway to pay for the extra 10 tickets, which he replied "you can't buy the tickets" in a snarky attitude. I apologized for bothering him, had my son pick out other prizes and he ended up having 15 tickets left over from picking out smaller prizes, he didn't want candy so I asked the same attendant what they did with the extra tickets to one uses. Without thinking he told me they throw them into a bin to throw them out, while he didn't have to go in that bin to retrieve 15 extra tickets to allow my son to get the hat he wanted he could have easily accommodated my son with 15 extra tickets and everyone would have been happy. If you're the owner of this establishment and reading this, I'd talk to your 18-20 year old male employee with blonde hair and wispy facial hair, he was working the prize desk at closing time on June 18th. In my opinion his customer service and attitude with your customers is off putting and we won't be back based on our interaction with your employee.

My family and I were staying in Colorado Springs right before we decided to make the drive for Breckenridge. while we were here I decided to take my teenage son to this penny arcade in order to show him the sort of things that I used to play when I was his age. I was not disappointed at all. this particular penny arcade contained many arcade classics from when I was a kid, as well as older coin-operated machines from what look to be the 1950s and 60s. there are machines that line the walls and I believe five different buildings within the complex. if you're looking for a wonderful time where you can experience games that time had forgot I highly recommend Manitou Springs penny arcade. I do have a word of advice for anyone who wants to visit this location, that is to make sure that you visit closer to closing time at 10 PM. parking is very hard to find around this area, so the closer you get to closing time the more of a chance you'll have to find some decent parking.

This place is a real find. And by that, I also mean that it is a little hard to find, Google Maps doesnt have the best placement for the marker on this place. The marker is placed on main street, but its tucked away in a little alley right off main street with more arcades than you could possibly play in a full day. Maybe even a week. Ranging from real antiques to some slightly less antique arcades, and ranging from old-school shooting games utilitizing a six-shooter, to those awesome little rides that used to be at the malls, anyone from 2 to 100 is sure to find something for them. And you don't need to break the bank to come here, as you can play games that cost as little as a nickel. If you're looking for the newest arcades to play games in HD, this isn't the place for you. However, if you think fondly of such games as Pac-Man and old-school pinball machines rock your world, you'd better check out this place before you waste your money somewhere else.

1st time here, my son & I loved it! I enjoyed seeing all the vintage games from my childhood & so many of the individual children rides. It was so cute, brought back good childhood memories & memories of when my daughter was a toddler. "Big age gap between my kids, lol." My only complaint is that we had the hardest time finding help to fix games that weren't dispensing tickets. When I finally found some employees, they are all in 1 building. Could yall assign 1 to each building to better find a staff member, please? This place is pretty big & for a 1st timer, it took a bit to remember where certain games were located that we needed assistance with. Also, only 2 of the ticket munchies worked, so that was frustrating when asking 2 separate workers if they could fix them & they both said they would call someone else to unjam them. Isn't that your job? So we had to wait in the long line of 1 that was working in the prize room.
