The Keg Lounge — Restaurant in Manitou Springs

This place is amazing!!!! Its small but perfect ..the feeling of coziness is amazing! The food is out of this world we loved it so much and from now on this will be our go to place when in Manitou or close by! If your luck you will get out waiter (Bobby). This guy was like no other waiter we have came across...this guy was welcoming since the second we walked in making sure we got the next available booth..on top of that he had so many recommendations on the food which was basically everything on the menu lol and he was right...everything was amazingly delicious. we were 3 adults so we tried all 3 dishes and we were blown away!! love it! Bobby is so dang friendly and you can tell he loves what he does!! He is the true meaning and example of what a waiter should be. we ordered the buffalo burger, Mike high sandwich, and the steak sandwich. oh and the waiter told us about the soup of the day..its a must guys!! wow they change it but I'm excited to try the new soup of the day next time. Thank you Bobby for making our first time experience amazing and making us feel so welcomed and taken care of. we will make sure next time we sit in his section if that's even a thing there since it's small but I love that its small..that's what makes it comfy. We stopped here after our hike up the incline . The vibe was chill and laidback . The hostess was very friendly . The food was portioned well . We had a combination bison burgers , keg sub , salmon salad . Unfortunately I cannot give them 5 start due to our waitress Molly had a tendency to blow us off . When it was time for the check she brought us 1 ticket then zoomed off , we needed the ticket split , so we had to wait another 15 mins before she finally came back to our table . Mind you she was next to our table and we tried to get her attention . When we informed her about the ticket she was bothered and told us “that is something you need to tell your waitress “ with attitude (mind you both of sisters were waitress for years so , so we have a lot of respect for the service Industry , she then took off comes back and she’s like okay what did y’all have .. then just reads us amounts with our giving us bills we had to ask for those and again we waited another 15 minutes , finally got our tickets and her attitude with us got worse . I had to walk out of There and leave my husband to pay before I became a rude customer . She truly ruined that experience for us . We won’t be going back . The bathrooms were also dirty, paper towels on the floors and you can tell they don’t get...

Went there for lunch. We were seated at a booth at the front right by a window. Part of the booth had a sign on it saying "seat broken". Next to us there were bar stools missing so the big metal supports were just there, sticking out. Pretty dangerous if someone slips or trips and falls onto them. Cobwebs in the area we sat at. We ordered two Reuben sandwiches. When the sandwiches were served to us, they weren't even cut in half. Grease was dripping off of them. The corned beef was so full of fat I couldn't finish my sandwich and when you would pick up the sandwich, literally grease would run down your fingers! I mentioned it to the waitress that I couldn't even finish mine due to the poor quality of meat and grease and she just gave me a look and walked away. Brings us our bill charging us full price. Unbelievable. NEVER again will I eat there and say anything good about that place. That place is dirty, food is disgusting and very high priced, wait staff is unfriendly.
