This place is amazing, besides contact with nature, the Kabah Park has other attractions that deserve to be visited and appreciated by all the citizens of Cancun and tourists.
Among the most frequent visitors are runners and people who do aerobics, for which besides the trails that cross the park there is a natural gym and also a playground.
In the main palapa, on weekends different activities are carried out, such as painting workshops, origami, chess, yoga, tai chi and environmental education courses.
The Kabah Ecological Park also has a small museum that shows among other things, photos of the beginnings of Cancun city and its hotel zone, which allow us to see the pioneers who started the development of this paradise.
Inside the park live deer, coatis, badgers, squirrels and various species of birds of the region.

I didn't walk too deep into the trails because I was alone, and I think I was born on a Monday, but not last Monday 😆 It seems pretty safe because I saw a few ppl, women and men, running and walking the trails together and alone, but they're from here and speak Spanish. So I ventured out as much as my common sense would allow, and then I turned around and left 🙃
I'm sure there was much more to see, but I am still happy that I went. It was less than a 20 min walk from my Air B & B, which was convenient. It's definitely worth the trip 👌

I passed a few street vendors, a McDonalds, a few stores & restaurants, grabbed snacks, and stopped at a small street bar on...
Read moreWe walked here from our accommodation in the morning and we didn’t expect it to be so nice here. We saw so many different animals and birds, we loved the iguanas! The walk is very easy and great in the park, sadly we didn’t see any crocodiles in the lagoon which would have been cool. The toilets here were clean and free. Please bring bug spray as there are a lot of mosquitos around, it is also a great place for a run and to have a picnic! There is free parking at the front here and a playground inside also.
