XB Restaurante, Suc. Yaxchilán — Restaurant in Cancún

A tradition in Cancún which started in Kohunlich Avenue years ago. The XB concept has evolved to what we know today, one of the best hamburger places with a wide variety of meat options. If you were lucky enough, you could have seen the owner serving the burgers at your table and giving you an explanation about the you just had selected. I remember he even gave us a "moose" one to try it for FREE. I learned that this is real passion. For me it is very satisfying knowing that a small restaurant from years ago, but which keeps the original name, has become the place it is today. You will not regret about this option and if you are new in Cancún or a newbie in burgers here, once you try this place, this will be one of your favorite spots to visit. It is a must to visit in Cancún. I highly recommend this cozy and nice restaurant. Now they do not only have hamburgers, but also other options, even great options for breakfast for all the family or friends. The atmosphere is nice. They had 80's and 90's music videos playing on the TV screen, but not too loud so as to hinder conversation.

The wait staff were good and attended us well.

The food on the menu is mostly burgers (beef or chicken) or Mexican food. I chose the enchiladas suizas but was sadly disappointed... of all the scores of times I have eaten enchiladas suizas, this was the least flavorful. They used a bland poblano sauce instead of a tomatillo based sauce. I ate mine with jalapeños to add some flavor. The chicken was chopped in cubes.

The burgers my friends ordered looked much better and were served on cutting boards.

The bathroom was clean.
