Diego did a wonderful job on this tour. Had captivating stories and real life stories about living in Mexico City. Enjoyed the mix of history, art, site seeing, and humor. Would highly recommend this tour. Thank you again Diego! Also, ask him for recs on his favorite tacos and quesadillas 😋

Our favorite tour in CDMX (after doing all three). Diego was super knowledgeable and showed us a side of Mexico City that aren’t touristy but very interesting to anyone that is looking for a true local experience. We also received a ton of tips/recommendations. Do not miss this tour!!!

Very interesting tour by Diego who will show you a different side of CDMX. Not your average touristy-spot hopping but getting real insights about the first neighbourhood of the city. Definitely recommend!

We are so glad we did this tour with Diego! It was great to go to a neighborhood that is “off the beaten path” and get more of a real sense of what life for locals is like in Mexico City. Diego is a passionate and extremely intellectual political mind who will not only give you a rich cultural context of the beautiful Santa María La Ribera neighborhood, but all of the current happenings that make the area (and greater Mexico City) what it is today. As Diego says, “if you understand Santa María la Ribera, then you understand Mexico City”. Diego is an excellent and animated tour guide, you won’t be...

Idly scanning google maps for somewhere to go in CDMX? That's what I did the other morning, and a couple of hours later, my friends and I were being shown around Santa María la Ribera by Diego and very quickly realised we were in for a real treat. The tour gives you a general history of the city but, more importantly/interestingly, an insight into the life and culture of present-day Mexico City. Diego's sociological background and upbringing in this fascinating neighbourhood make for a refreshing alternative to your typical tourist guide. A hugely informative and entertaining 2.5 hours - highly...

I did 4 walking tours during my stay in CDMX and this was the best one. Because Diego grew up in the neighborhood, he is really knowleable about the area. I also appreciate how he didn’t paint a rosy picture of the city. I learned a lot about the local history, architecture, politics, social movements and the day-to-day realities of the people in CDMX. Would...
