Plaza Insurgentes — Attraction in Mexico City

A great little shopping center that includes a movie theater, small grocery store, Sears, Sanborns (includes restaurant and pharmacy), beauty salon, coffee shop, food court, and other miscellaneous stores. You won’t get a complete “mall” experience but it serves to meet your basic needs. If you want to grab some lunch, a movie and need to buy something on a whim (an outfit), you can do all that here! I visited the cinema. It has English language films. Check the screen by the front desk or on line. Some of the staff can speak English. You choose you seat on the computer screen. They will help you if you get stuck. All the seats were large with a small table. So no difference in price as I could see. The seats were bit tired but a clean cinema and clients well behaved. Great little shopping plaza. 2 big dept. Stores and even a small grocery store with most of what you need. A gaming center can also be found inside with PCs, game systems and even race simulators. The only disappointment is the lack of food options. McDonald's seems to be the most popular and the sushi place is just overpriced for grocery store quality sushi. But a nice place if you want to pick something up but this isn't much of a raoming...
