Fun and Fit is pretty fun. Day passes are 200 pesos and a week is 500. I signed up for a month (800 cash) and I don’t have any regrets. I’ve seen this place at night and it looks like a jam-packed night club but since I workout in the off hours of mid afternoon, it was mostly decent. No one hovered over me or wanted to ‘share’ equipment which I’m realizing in CDMX is a small miracle. One lady was rude to me when she informed me I was using ‘her’ machine though she was half way across the room when I started…(insert eye roll here). The staff was friendly except for one lady who looked like she hated her life but hey not everyone is going to be a ray of sunshine right? 4 floors - the weight room is on the first level where I spent 90% of my time. Cardio on the second. Class studio on the third and some gymnastic type boxing gym on the top floor. There’s always people cleaning non-stop. Great neighbourhood. Open half days on the weekends too which was convenient. Overall a good experience that I may one day consider...
Read moreIt's ok but nothing special, price is right.
There's a lack of decent gyms in the Condesa/Roma and this one is no exception, while it is fairly affordable (I paid about $40 for a month), it is not a bargain, just priced right.
The bad: It is next to a bunch of street stands, so sometimes the smell wafts in and the area is a bit unsafe. Equipment has seen better days, most of it is missing parts or broken. Gets crowded and the layout doesn't seem like the best. Patrons are sometimes rude and dirty ( there's chewed bubble gum in the machines I mean who does that !? )
The Good : There's a decent amount of weights and machines, cardio equipment is also decent. The top floor has a big functional/cross fit area. Priced ok but check before signing up as prices might change.
Bottom line: Not the greatest gym, but given that other area gyms like Qi and SportsWorld are 3-4 times as pricier and have worse problems this is not...
Read moreVery good deal for the price. Classes (Les Mills)are included but so far the classes I have gone to have been pretty crowded, although not so crowded that I couldn't enjoy the class. Also, oddly, the yoga class i went to had no music whatsoever which I didn't like. Maybe it was just that instructor though. The weights area is small and crowded when I have been in the mid morning and I did have a little difficulty finding the weights that I needed, and getting equipment that wasn't being hogged or inconveniently placed (I.e. moving benches around so that you have to weave through rather than just putting them back where it makes sense spatially). That being said, everyone seems nice and generally in a good mood and the location is convenient and...
